Composition and Application of Refractory Castable

Refractory refers to the temperature of the cone sample of refractory castable in the absence of a load, against the high temperature effect without softening and melting. Refractory castable and high temperature skills appear, roughly originated in the middle of the Bronze Age. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, clayey refractory castables were used as kiln materials and saggers for firing porcelain. At the beginning of the 20th century, refractory castables were developed to high purity, high density and ultra-high temperature products. At the same time, monolithic refractory castables and refractory fibers with no need for firing and low energy consumption appeared. Contemporary, with the development of orchard energy skills, space skills, and new resource skills, refractory castables with comprehensive and high-quality functions such as high temperature resistance, erosion resistance, thermal vibration resistance, and erosion resistance have been applied.

The National Standard Committee approved the release of 4 national standards for refractory materials

Announcement No. 6 of 2018 of the National Standardization Management Committee approved 389 national standards, including 4 national standards for refractory materials. The specific standard names are as follows: 1)GB/T7320-2018 "Test Method for Thermal Expansion of Refractory Materials": This standard specifies the definition, principle, equipment, specimens, test steps, result calculation, test error and test report of thermal expansion determination of refractory materials. This standard is applicable to the determination of linear expansion rate, average linear expansion coefficient and instantaneous linear expansion coefficient of refractory materials.
